FORMAT: Asynchronous
CONFIGURATION: On-demand, Self-paced
SERVICE DURATION: 6 weeks

Course Opens May 15, 2026

This online course provides a grounded introduction to the principles of digital pedagogy, emphasizing how thoughtful design choices shape meaningful learning across modalities. Using the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework as an organizing lens, the course explores how technology, pedagogy, and disciplinary content inform one another, and how intentional alignment among these elements leads to more coherent, engaging, and equitable learning experiences. Participants examine core concepts of digital pedagogy, including learner-centered design, active engagement, and authentic assessment in technology-enhanced environments. Through guided practice, you will evaluate categories of digital tools, determine how they support specific pedagogical purposes and content goals, and integrate them in ways that advance learning rather than using technology for its own sake. The course also emphasizes Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and accessibility principles to promote inclusive and equitable participation. By the end of the course, you will be prepared to apply the TPACK framework to redesign lessons, activities, and assessments that strengthen learning outcomes and support continuous improvement in digital contexts.
